Program Overview: The ongoing safety leader training series provides Midwest region instruction from members of the safety team regarding high reliability principles, foundational safety knowledge, and cutting edge research and academic publications.

Overall Objectives:

  1. Demonstrate expertise in applying safety science to standard safety work
  2. Apply evidence-based safety practices to Midwest Region processes
  3. Identify how to apply new concepts of published novel or best practices in safety work

Target Audience:  This activity is designed for nursing and pharmacy safety leaders and other clinical team members with interest in the topic of any given month.
