Overall Objectives:

1. Demonstrate use of human error prevention tools, or the High Reliability Tools and Tactics (HRTT).
2. Verbalize the AAH HRTTS.
3. Demonstrate peer coaching, especially to the HRTTs.
4. Demonstrate the use of the Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA) model for improvement.
5. Implement PDSA’s to improve local systems.

Target Audience:  
This activity is designed for leaders, nurses, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and other interested frontline care team members trained as safety champions.
