Description:

Emergency Medicine physicians are not always utilizing the most up to date technologies, recent advances updated guidelines and best practices in the practice of emergency medicine.  Under-recognized or undiagnosed disease entities, if not addressed, may lead to poor long-term health outcomes. This series will cover the core content of Emergency Medicine.

• Review and outline state-of-the-art approaches to a variety of Emergency Department patient presentations.
• Describe recent technological advances in diagnostic modalities relevant to Emergency Medicine.
• Evaluate recent Emergency Medicine literature and adapt its content to current practice.
