Objectives

After presentation, the participants will be able to:

  • Recognize the critical issues of professional burnout among healthcare workers including prevalence, contributing factors and its impact on employees, patients, and hospitals
  • Understand the American Association of Critical Care Nursing’s Healthy Work Environment Framework and the six standards of a healthy work environment
  • Discover strategies and resources that individuals can utilize to protect against burnout and enhance their work experience
