  1. Identify the risk factors of thrombosis associated with IBD
  2. Determine the role of thromboprophylaxis in patients with IBD
  3. Weigh the benefits of thromboprophylaxis against the risk of increased IBD-related gastrointestinal bleeding in patients with active disease
