Overview:
This weekly conference consists of a brief didactic presentation on a topic of interest in dementia care including diagnosis, treatment, neuropsychiatric symptoms, and psychosocial aspects of care. It is followed by a case-based discussion that allows participants to identify challenges and make suggestions regarding the care of a patient with dementia.

Overall Objectives:
Identify current practices in the diagnosis, treatment and management of Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia and apply them in clinical practice.

Target Audience:  All physicians including primary care, neurology, geriatrics, psychiatry, nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
