Description: This presentation will cover the initial management of pediatric traumas in the emergency department, with a focus on medication selection, administration, and other important safety information in this unique population. General pediatric emergency department considerations, as well as an overview of major traumas by body systems will be covered to increase knowledge and improve care, especially among emergency departments that do not routinely treat children.
