Each indication will be discussed in terms of its pathophysiology and signs and symptoms. Furthermore, the presentation will cover the relevant guidelines and literature for each specific indication, providing a comprehensive overview of TXA’s multifaceted utility in clinical practice.

  • Recall the pharmacology and pharmacokinetics of tranexamic acid (TXA)
  • Assess current guidelines for TXA administration recommendations
  • Analyze clinical trial data in relation to the diverse applications of TXA
  • Develop a pharmacologic treatment plan utilizing TXA appropriately when given a patient case
