2024 Protocol Overview & I-Gel Simulation Training (On-Demand)

On-demand education session introducing the 2024 EMS Clinical Guidelines.  Session will review the highlights of the protocol changes, provide initial i-gel airway education and confirm competency with hands-on education and simulated cardiac arrest scenario.  You must meet with a validated preceptor/designee to demonstrate hands on i-gel placement to prove skill competency.

Target Audience

All Wisconsin and Michigan Practitioners: EMR, EMT, AEMT, Paramedic, CCT Paramedic

  • Attain competency with i-gel supraglottic airway including:
    • Indications
    • Sizing
    • Placement
    • Securement
    • Confirmation and Monitoring
