Webinar Objectives:
Upon completion of the activity, the learner should be able to:
Define residual risk; identify residual risk differences in primary versus secondary prevention.
Review recent data on reducing residual risk in both primary and secondary prevention: aggressive LDL-lowering agents, anti-inflammatory agents, SGLT2-inhibitors, GLP1-agonists, EPA, novel anti-thrombotic and antiplatelet strategies, and the like.
Define the role of the cardiovascular specialist in prioritizing newer agents and treatment strategies for the individual patient vis-à-vis communication with providers in other medical specialties.
Target Audience: This activity is designed for Cardiologists and other interested healthcare professionals.
