Overall Objectives:

  1. Describe key elements of treatment protocols for patients with various admitted diagnoses and apply to applicable treatment plans in clinical practice.
  2. Identify common high risk problems so that they can be treated promptly and appropriately.
  3. Evaluate recent innovations in nursing clinical practice in order to assess their use for safe and effective patient care.

Target Audience: This activity is designed for nurses and other healthcare professionals.
