         This quarter EMS training will focus on the following:

           1)  General Lecture: Diabetic Emergencies

           2)  Skill Stations:            

• ‘What’s in the bag’…a review of diabetic medications
• Technology in diabetes 
  Various devices that providers may see in the field 
• RSV/DKA pediatric simulation scenario

2)  Skill Stations:

• Kangoofix Transport System for Newborns
• Pediatric Transport Techniques
• Junctional Tourniquet-Inguinal Application with Wound Packing
• Sim: Rapid Trauma Assessment
