This presentation will cover a general overview of the different types of angioedema, including pathophysiology, symptoms, and diagnosis. This presentation will also explore the most up to date literature regarding various treatment options for the four types of angioedema.

  • Recognize key characteristics that can help differentiate between the four types of angioedema
  • Examine the impact of angioedema pathophysiology on treatment options
  • Evaluate literature on current treatment options and dosing strategies based on the type of angioedema
  • Develop a pharmacologic treatment regimen for a certain type of angioedema
