Objective:

At the end of this session, learners should be able to:

  • Define sepsis and differentiate between sepsis, severe sepsis, and septic shock, recognizing the clinical deterioration across the spectrum.
  • Identify early signs of sepsis and understand the critical importance of timely recognition and establishing time zero.
  • Apply knowledge of sepsis management by accurately initiating and prioritizing 3- and 6-hour bundle interventions.
