Course Overview:
This webinar will provide an overview of the current recommended vaccine schedule while exploring the historical roots and ongoing drivers of vaccine hesitancy. Attendees will gain insight into how perceptions of vaccination have evolved over time and the factors that continue to influence patient concerns today. The session will also highlight practical, evidence-based strategies to help clinicians confidently and effectively recommend vaccines in everyday practice.
 
Course Objectives:
Upon completion of the activity, the learner should be able to:
  • Describe the current pediatric vaccine framework, including key safety principles and recent considerations influencing recommended schedules.
  • Analyze historical and sociocultural factors contributing to vaccine hesitancy and their impact on patient decision-making.
  • Apply evidence-based communication strategies to effectively counsel patients and their caregivers to address vaccine concerns in clinical settings.
