With increasing publicity and promotional activity around liquid biopsies to test for cancers that don’t have a screening test (ex: pancreatic cancer), pts are asking about these tests which insurers are not covering. This webinar will help clinicians guide patient conversations and thinking around this direct-to-consumer marketing blitz that is gaining increasing attention.

  • Compare and contrast standard tissue biopsies for cancer diagnosis to emerging liquid biopsies
  • Describe the current clinical applications of liquid biopsy in cancer.
  • List how liquid versus tissue biopsies predict outcomes and assist in treatment decision-making.
