This presentation will share information on pharmacoeconomic evaluations currently used in practice and how they are utilized in coverage determinations. An overview of what a typical medication coverage process looks like and its implications for organizations will be provided. The Institute for Clinical and Economic Review’s (ICER) reports will also be discussed with their relevance in establishing cost-effective medication usage.
