Objectives
- Describe the population/cohort of intensive care unit Black or African American patients who develop pressure injuries and those who do not develop pressure injuries
- Describe patient characteristics, risk factors, and prevention strategies in the Black or African American patient population
- Identify significant factors associated with the development of pressure injuries in Black and African American patients
- Determine if pressure injury predictors and prevention strategies for Black or African American patients are consistent with current recommendations
