Topic: Get Climate Smart: Air Quality

Overview: In this session we'll dive deeper into changes in air quality and how they impact our health; from how western wildfires impact midwestern sunrises and sunsets to increased pollution and their associated particulates. All impact the quality of air we breathe adversely affecting those with existing pulmonary related conditions (e.g. asthma, COPD) and increasing the likelihood of new conditions across the lifespan. Clinical vignettes will highlight selected age-related impacts of air quality on patients' health.
