Course Overview: Lower extremity vascular disease is an important manifestation of systemic cardiovascular disease, and a significant marker of cardiovascular and limb-related risk. This webinar will provide a practical review of peripheral arterial disease and other common vascular disorders of the lower extremity, with an emphasis on recognition, diagnosis, and management.

Course Objectives:  Upon completion of the activity, the learner should be able to:

  • Review epidemiology associated with peripheral vascular disease
  • Describe the clinical presentation, work-up, and treatment options for lower extremity vascular diseases
  • Discuss the role of multidisciplinary care in improving limb and cardiovascular outcomes
