Course Overview: This session reviews the evolution of GLP-1–based therapies from diabetes management to cardiovascular risk reduction, and translates the evidence into practical prescribing and monitoring guidance for cardiologists
Course Objectives:
Upon completion of the activity, the learner should be able to:
- Learn about the different GLP1 RA drugs and indications
- Explore the cardiovascular benefits of these medications
- Explore the cost benefit analysis and compare them to SGLT 2 inhibitors
