Overview:

Advocate Health empowers nurses through an extensive professional governance model that gives clinical nurses a direct voice in decision-making, quality improvement, and patient care standards. This webinar will review the Governance Health Score (GHS), a weighted composite that combines nurse-reported, patient, and organizational metrics into one site-level picture of governance maturity and will share how teams can access resources, and use their score to guide council work, and next-step improvements.

Objectives: Participants will be able to:

1. Describe professional governance and the concepts used to guide measurement development

2. Relate the aims, methods, and factor analysis procedures used to validate the weighted composite score.

3. Discuss the key findings, implications, resources need to strengthen governance.

4. Develop one practice or council action based on your score.
