Overview
February is “heart month” and a great time to provide an update on current blood pressure (BP) guidelines and best practices for caring for patients with hypertension. These presenters will provide an update on the challenges of controlling hypertension in Hispanic and African American patients, and they will introduce you to an innovative Ambulatory RN-led hypertension model leading to an increase in hypertension control.

- Discuss strategies that ambulatory care nurses use to help patients manage their BP.
