Objectives
After the presentation, the participants will be able to:
1. Define the different types of chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting (CINV).
2. Recognize regimen-specific emetogenic risks, including agents like cisplatin, carboplatin, cyclophosphamide, and doxorubicin, which are commonly associated with delayed and severe CINV.
3. Evaluate the effectiveness of antiemetic regimens based on emetogenic risk categories (high, moderate, low, minimal) and patient-specific factors.
