Objectives:

At the end of this session, the learner will be able to: 

  1. Define common pediatric mental health conditions and analyze commonly used diagnostic screens
  2. Review commonly used medications in pediatric psychiatry
  3. Discuss the research and studies behind current pediatric psychopharmacology recommendations
  4. Compare different pharmacological regimens for both simple and complex pediatric psychiatry disorders
    1. Identify awareness of available mental health resources for children and adolescents in Illinois
