Objectives:

At the end of this session, the learner will be able to: 

  1. Review epidemiological trends of micro-mobility injuries to evaluate their clinical impact on pediatric trauma volume and severity.
  2. Identify common injury patterns and recognize high-risk, life-threatening presentations (e.g., severe TBI, solid organ injury) in pediatric micro-mobility trauma.
  3. Formulate clinical anticipatory guidance and injury prevention strategies tailored for pediatric providers across outpatient, emergency, and inpatient settings.
  4. Evaluate current legislative actions, local policies, and environmental safety measures aimed at mitigating youth micro-mobility risks.
