Objectives

  1. Recognize the clinical syndrome of heart failure and who is at risk
  2. Articulate typical diagnostic testing essential for diagnosis and management of heart failure 
  3. Incorporate appropriate treatment strategies for patients across the spectrum of heart failure 
  4. Know when referral for advanced heart failure therapies is indicated, when given a set of data 
  5. Describe treatment strategies to manage symptoms when conventional therapies have been exhausted
  6. Identify primary and secondary preventive measures to reduce the incidence of heart failure

This event is for cardiologists, internal medicine and family medicine physicians, and other allied health care professionals with an interest in the latest management and treatment of heart failure.
