Overall Objectives:

  • Identify common pediatric health problems and unusual clinical manifestations of various pediatric disease entities.
  • Explain the pathophysiology of common and uncommon pediatric diseases.
  • Recognize pediatric clinical problems and correlate a pediatric clinical diagnosis.
  • Assess contemporary, diagnostic and management techniques and protocols in the pediatric healthcare setting
