This month EMS training will focus on EMS Call reviews
Objectives
- Review department EMS calls
- Enhance EMS providers' understanding of prehospital documentation standards ensuring accurate and comprehensive record-keeping in prehospital care settings.
- Improve clinical assessment skills of EMS providers ability to conduct thorough clinical assessments, including accurate diagnosis, treatment initiation, and patient monitoring, thereby optimizing patient outcomes during prehospital care.
- Foster critical thinking in EMS providers' evaluation of clinical care enabling them to analyze prehospital clinical scenarios effectively, identify areas for improvement, and implement evidence-based interventions to enhance patient care quality.
- Promote effective communication and collaboration among EMS teams, aiming to enhance coordination among EMS providers, improve patient handoff processes, and facilitate seamless transitions of care for optimal patient outcomes.

- Differentiate ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke
