  1. Discuss the differential diagnosis and workup of patients with bacterial endocarditis
  2. Discuss the acute management of bacterial endocarditis
  3. Recognize the possible sequelae of bacterial endocarditis and recognize the signs and symptoms with associated conditions
  4. Discuss the current SBE prophylaxis guidelines
